My first step was to dedicate time and energy to understanding wounds I didn't even know I had. I began to listen to my inner child, understand my wants/needs, and set boundaries to begin laying the foundation for a healthier way for me to go about life and its challenges.
This isn't just about personal growth; it's a profound act of self-love. It means prioritizing your well-being, acknowledging your strengths, and embracing your vulnerabilities! I've spent the last 13+ years working to develop this relationship with myself and I still learn something new every day!
Learning to improve your relationship with others
Delving into the principles of effective communication and empathy changes the quality of your interactions and how you utilize them in your life. This journey isn't just about improving connections with others; it's about fostering genuine understanding, building stronger bonds, and creating a harmonious network of relationships that uplift and support you, as you support others with the same energy and love you learn to freely receive. It took lots of love and support from lots of good people to get me where I am today, but I needed to learn how to learn how to communicate my own needs, wants, and failures effectively.

For me, the journey of self-discovery and healing led me to focus on the crucial and often overlooked aspect of renewing my relationship with my inner child. By addressing the unmet needs and wounds of my past, I was able to realize personal growth and emotional well-being. This process not only brought me relief from toxic shame, but also empowered me to cultivate a new sense of hope, resilience, self-compassion, and actual joy for life!
